NIS Data Privacy Statement
This statement clarifies how we collect your data, the type of information and how this is used, shared and processed. From time to time we may supplement this Statement with additional information relating to a particular interaction we have with you.

Collection of Personal Information

Fulfilling your Transaction Request
If you request something from NIS, for example a product or service, a call back or specific marketing materials, we will use the information you provide to fulfil your request. To help us do this we may share information with our business partners, their distributors, suppliers or delivery companies involved in fulfilment.
Personalising your Experience on our Websites
We may use information we collect about you to provide you with a personalised experience on our Websites, such as providing you with content in which you may be interested, or making navigation easier on our sites.
We may use your personal information to provide support for products or services you have obtained from us. This may entail notifying you of a product update, new feature or fix.

However, we will offer you the opportunity to choose whether or not to have your information used in this way. Some of our offerings may be co-branded which means they are sponsored by both NIS and other key NIS partners. If you sign up for these offerings, be aware that your information may also be collected by and shared with those third parties. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with their privacy policies to gain an understanding of the manner in which they will handle information about you.
In connection with a job application or enquiry, whether advertised on an NIS Website or otherwise, you may provide us with information about yourself such as a Curriculum Vitae. We may use this information in order to address your enquiry or consider you for employment purposes. Unless you tell us not to do so, we may keep the information for future consideration or for legal reasons.
Monitoring or Recording of Calls, Chats and Other Interactions
Certain online transactions may involve you calling us or us calling you. They may also involve online chats or an exchange of emails. Please be aware that it is the general practice of NIS to monitor and record such interactions for staff training, service improvement or quality assurance purposes or to retain evidence of a particular transaction or interaction.

We may also use or share your information to protect our rights or property, our business partners, suppliers, clients or others, when we have reasonable grounds to believe that such rights or property have been, or could be affected. Collection and Use of Children’s Personal Information.
NIS does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If NIS learns that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems.
Sharing of Personal Information and International Transfers
In providing our customers with solutions, NIS uses suppliers and partners located in the UK or with International presence.
From time to time, we may disclose information that identifies you at an individual level to fulfil a business process or information request. We will only do so with your prior consent. We do not sell such information.
Please be aware that in certain circumstances, personal information may be subject to disclosure to government agencies pursuant to judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. We may also share your information to protect our rights or property, our business partners, suppliers or clients, and others when we have reasonable grounds to believe that such rights or property have been or could be affected.
Information Security and Accuracy
We intend to protect your personal information and to maintain its accuracy. NIS implements reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to help us protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use and disclosure. We use encryption where appropriate, Firewalls and other technologies to protect such information. We also require that our suppliers protect such information from unauthorised access, use and disclosure.
We will retain your registration information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide you with products and services. If you wish to request that we no longer use this kind of information for such purposes then please contact us. We will retain and use your registration information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
